Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the oral health and well-being of our patients. This is a very busy multi-specialty practice.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records system
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Experience with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnosis (e.g., X-rays)
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes
- Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to develop personalized treatment plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
